Simultaneous measurement of volumetric water content (VWC), electrical conductivity (EC), and temperature (°C) is possible, making it suitable for analyzing conditions in the soil.

- Adoption of a unique circuit using a folded-back parallel transmission line method (patented) simplifies the circuit and improves cost performance. - By incorporating a CPU, it is possible to correct the detection signals from the sensor section and output them externally. * The characteristic data for volumetric water content (VWC), electrical conductivity (EC), and temperature is linearly corrected and outputted. (WETC type) * The electrical conductivity (EC) is converted to the value at 25°C (temperature compensated) and outputted. (WETC type) - A stabilized power supply is built into the sensor, allowing the supply voltage to the sensor to be used over a wide range of 4.5 to 15V.
